- Fra CWe came back to this restaurant on Saturday evening. Reservation is highly recommended, the tavern is family-run but is still exclusive, and the room - although large - accommodates the number of tables appropriate to the location. After all, especially to enjoy a quiet dinner with the family, moreover in an ancient small medieval village, you could not ask for more. With regard to the food: the new owners, who have added a touch of their Aosta Valley heart to the table, do not make Walter and Paola regret. Friendly staff in the dining room, beautiful presentation of the dishes, fantastic and creative starters. We have not tasted the first course, but regarding the second course, the cheek with fried polenta is really excellent, the meat cooking really spectacular; if I hadn't been full, I would have ordered another one. The desserts are also good and the wine list is average. Finally, in our opinion correct price for the location and for the food. For sure we will come back when we...
- Maxim NAmazing. Risotto is to die for. One of the best beef tartare. Not mentioning a pastorale view at the sunset - romance as it is
- Jane RScipione is an impossibly cute castle on a hill, many of which are dotted throughout Emilia Romagna. The restaurant is around the back of the castle. There is a terrace with views all the way to Piacenza, which catches the breeze even on a hot summer day. All the food is home made, order everything the owner recommends. Menu includes onion and Parmesan tart, snails and sausage, rabbit terrine. Nearby there is a nature reserve where rare bee eaters nest.
